This POSCA set captures skin tones and portrait colours just right on paper. Water-resistant, lightfast and odourless, so you can work worry-free on drawings that stay beautiful for years.
When do you choose this product?
What are POSCA pigment markers and when do you use them?
POSCA pigment markers are versatile markers suitable for a range of surfaces and techniques. You use them when you want to apply permanent, opaque colours to paper, card, wood, stone, metal or textile. Thanks to their pigment base, they deliver rich colour that remains clearly visible even on dark surfaces.
Why this portrait colours set?
This 8-piece set is specially put together for portrait drawings and skin tones. The colours beige, powder pink, satin pink, salmon, chestnut, brown, cocoa brown and dark brown give you a complete range for realistic skin tones and shadow effects. With this variety, you can accurately depict different skin types and nuances.
Permanent and lightfast properties
The markers are waterproof and lightfast, meaning your drawings will not fade from light or moisture. This makes them ideal for artworks you want to keep for the long term or display. In addition, they are odourless, so you can work comfortably indoors without being bothered by chemical fumes.
Practical tip for use
With the round tip and line width of 1.8–2.5 mm, you can colour both fine details and larger areas. When working on portraits, always start with the lightest shade and gradually work towards darker shadows. By storing the markers upright and closing them properly after use, you maintain optimal colour release and prevent the tip from drying out.
