What does this mini fridge do and when do you need one?

A mini fridge is the practical solution when you need a small chilled space without setting up a full-sized fridge. Think of a home office where you want drinks and packed lunches within reach, a bedroom, or a small studio. With a capacity of 42 litres, you have enough room for everyday essentials without the appliance taking up much floor space.

Why this size is the right choice

The dimensions of 450 x 450 x 510 mm make this fridge compact enough to place on a desk or worktop, or neatly in a corner of your office. Its weight of 15 kg means you can move it without much effort if needed. With 2 wire shelves and 2 door racks, you have the available space neatly organised.

Honest about temperature control and noise level

The temperature is infinitely adjustable between 0 and 8 degrees Celsius, giving you the flexibility to decide how cold the contents are kept. The automatic defrost function saves you from regular manual defrosting. The appliance produces 39 dB of noise, which is noticeable in a quiet space such as a home office, but comparable to other appliances in this segment. The refrigerant used, R600a, has a low environmental impact.

Practical tip for connection and use

This fridge runs on 220-240 V / 50 Hz and has a power rating of 60 W, so it can be plugged into a standard wall socket. Please note: the appliance is supplied with a Swiss plug including a fixed adapter. Check whether you can use the supplied adapter or whether you need a suitable travel adapter for the Dutch socket.
