What does this notepad do and when do you use it?

A notepad in this format is meant for quick notes you want to have to hand wherever you are: a phone number, a to-do list or a brief sketch in between. Thanks to the top perforation (kopseitige heftung), you can tear off a sheet easily without the rest of the pad coming loose. This makes it suitable if you regularly want to leave or take loose notes, rather than a pad in which you want to keep everything.

Why the DIN A7 format suits here

Measuring 74 x 105 mm, this pad falls into the pocket size category: it fits in a trouser pocket, jacket pocket or beside your keyboard without taking up much space. That makes it a logical choice when your desk is already full of larger writing pads or when you want to jot something down on the go. For extensive notes or long texts this format is less practical; for those, you would be better off choosing a larger model from the same range.

The 5x5 mm grid pattern in practice

The pad has a squared pattern of 5x5 mm, with the lines in a colour that matches the azure blue paper. This grid is handy if you want to draw straight lines, small tables or simple diagrams alongside normal text. The colour of the ruling has deliberately been kept subtle, so that the grid supports your notes without overwhelming them.
