What does this product do?
Weck jars are ideal for storing and preserving small portions of food such as jam, honey, spice blends or homemade sauces. The traditional bail closure creates an airtight seal, so your products stay fresh for longer. These jars are also excellent for preserving vegetables or storing spices.

Compact dimensions for flexible use
With a diameter of 65 mm and a height of 85 mm, these jars are compact enough for any kitchen cupboard. The size is handy for storing small quantities and expensive ingredients such as saffron or vanilla extract.

Reliable airtight seal
The metal bail closure works together with a rubber sealing ring for an optimal seal. This traditional system seals hermetically without you having to check whether the lid is fitted properly - you can hear and feel when the clasp clicks securely into place. The soda-lime glass composition is neutral and does not affect the taste of what you store.

Practical tip for optimal use
Before first use, check that the rubber sealing ring sits properly in the groove of the lid. When filling with hot products such as jam, first warm the jars with warm water - this prevents cracking caused by thermal shock. Store filled jars in a cool, dark place for the longest shelf life.
