This Bristol sketch pad with smooth, pure white sheets is ideal for pencil, charcoal and other dry techniques. The head-glued binding keeps your sheet firmly in place, so you can keep sketching without any fuss.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
A Bristol sketch pad is specially developed for dry drawing techniques such as pencil, charcoal, pastel and coloured pencils. Bristol paper is known for its smooth surface, which is ideal for detailed work where you need precision. Choose this pad when you want to draw or sketch without the paper becoming soggy or tearing.
Why this A4 version?
The A4 format of 210 x 297 mm offers enough space for most drawings while also fitting standard folders and portfolios. With 50 sheets, you have enough paper for a complete project or course. The pad is glued at the top (head-glued), which means you can easily tear off sheets one by one without damaging the others.
The benefit of 180 g/m² paper weight
The paper weight of 180 g/m² ensures the paper is sturdy enough to withstand multiple layers and corrections without creasing. This weight also prevents drawings from showing through to the next sheet. The bright white surface gives your drawings a fresh, professional look.
Practical tip for use
This Bristol paper is suitable for all dry drawing techniques, but avoid wet media such as watercolour or markers. Store the pad flat in a dry place to prevent warping. The smooth surface works best with fine pencils for detailed work, while for texture effects it is better to choose textured paper.
