When do you need a technical pencil?
A 2.0 mm mechanical pencil is ideal for technical drawing, sketching and design work where you need thick, clear lines. This size offers more coverage than thin pencils and is perfect for rough sketching, hatching and filling in larger areas.

Why choose a 2.0 mm thickness?
With 2.0 mm you get the benefits of a pencil without having to sharpen it constantly. The thick lead breaks less easily than thinner alternatives and gives you more control when creating expressive lines and shading.

Refillable system with integrated sharpener
This Rotring mechanical pencil is fully refillable, which means you only need to buy new leads when they run out. The end cap contains an integrated sharpener so you can always keep the tip sharp. The hardness grade marking shows which lead grade you are using.

Practical details for everyday use
The hexagonal grip prevents the pencil from rolling off your drawing board and provides a stable hold while you work. The chrome-plated ring clip lets you attach the pencil securely to your pocket or sketchbook. You can refill this mechanical pencil with standard 2.0 mm leads in various hardness grades.
