This is why Dex likes this article
This dark yellow oil paint from Royal Talens brings your paintings to life with a clear, powerful colour. Thanks to its good mixability, you effortlessly mix your own shades, and the handy 200 ml aluminium tube lasts a long time in your studio.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need oil paint?
Oil paint is the classic choice for painters working on canvas, panel or other suitable surfaces. You use this paint when you need a long working time, because oil paint dries slowly and you have more time to mix colours and add details. This makes it ideal for realistic paintings, portraits and landscapes.
Why choose dark yellow in 200 ml?
Dark yellow is a commonly used base colour that you regularly need for colour mixing and as a starting point for warmer shades. The 200 ml tube offers enough content for multiple painting projects without you running through your paint quickly. This quantity is practical for both beginner and advanced artists.
Vegetable oils as a base
This ArtCreation oil paint is made from vegetable oils and pigments, which ensures good properties while painting. The vegetable base contributes to the workability of the paint and the natural character of the medium. The paint mixes well with other colours, so you can easily create new shades.
Practical tips for use
The aluminium tube protects the paint against drying out and keeps its consistency well. Always store the tube tightly closed and make sure the cap is clean before you replace it. For mixing colours, you can combine this dark yellow shade with other oil paints from the same ArtCreation range for optimal compatibility.

Dex knows - user tips
Don't simply throw leftover paint and empty tubes in the normal rubbish or down the drain — this paint is harmful to aquatic organisms. Take them to a collection point for chemical waste.
