Compact sketchbook that goes wherever you do. The sturdy hardcover with elastic band keeps your sketches safe, while the acid-free 140 gsm paper captures every line and colour beautifully.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a professional sketchbook?
A sketchbook is used for capturing ideas, practising techniques and creating artistic work. This Royal Talens Art Creation sketchbook is suitable for various drawing techniques such as graphite pencil, coloured pencils, charcoal, sketching pencil and soft pastels. The acid-free paper ensures that your drawings do not discolour or yellow over time.
Why choose the A5 format?
The A5 format offers the ideal balance between working space and portability. You have enough room for detailed sketches, yet the book still fits easily into a backpack or bag. This makes it perfect for drawing on the go, study work, or as a daily sketchbook that you can always have with you.
The benefits of 140 gsm paper
The 140 gsm paper has a fine grain that suits various dry drawing techniques. This weight is sturdy enough to prevent bleed-through to the next page, yet not so thick that the book becomes unwieldy. The fine grain provides just enough texture for good adhesion of pencil and other dry media.
Practical details for everyday use
The hardcover in artificial leather protects your drawings from damage and gives the book a professional appearance. The elastic band keeps the book firmly closed in your bag, while the ribbon serves as a bookmark so you can quickly return to your current work. The rounded corners prevent the book from being damaged or the corners from curling.
