When should you use a sketchbook of this size?
A 120×120 mm sketchbook is ideal for sketching on the go, capturing quick ideas and detailed work on a small scale. The compact square format fits easily into any bag or backpack, so you can always draw whenever inspiration strikes. Its handy size lets you hold the sketchbook comfortably in one hand while sketching.

Why choose this square format?
The square 120×120 mm format offers unique compositional possibilities that rectangular sketchbooks don't. You can experiment with symmetrical compositions, mandalas and abstract shapes that fit perfectly within the square frame. The format also encourages you to think more deliberately about your composition and use of space.

What makes this paper suitable for sketching?
The 140 g/m² paper has a fine grain that provides the right grip when drawing with pencil, charcoal or other dry media. The acid-free paper prevents yellowing and keeps your sketches looking beautiful for years. With 80 sheets, you have plenty of pages for an extended sketching period or project.

Practical details for everyday use
The faux leather hardcover with rounded corners makes the sketchbook durable for frequent transport. The elastic strap keeps the sketchbook securely closed in your bag, while the ribbon bookmark lets you quickly pick up where you left off. This Royal Talens edition in golden yellow is striking enough to spot easily among your other belongings.
