When do you need a round pointed brush?
You use a round pointed brush for precise details, fine lines and refined accents in your oil paintings. The pointed tip allows you to accurately work out small elements such as leaves, branches or texture details. This type of brush is indispensable when you want to move from broad areas to fine finishing.

Why size 16 is the ideal middle ground
With size 16 you have a versatile brush that is suitable for both medium-sized areas and detail work. You can use it to make broader strokes, or switch to finer lines by applying light pressure. This size offers the perfect balance between coverage and precision for most painting techniques.

Chinese hog bristles for oil paint
The Chinese hog bristles are firm enough to get through the thick consistency of oil paint, yet flexible enough for smooth movements. The hair retains its shape well and distributes the paint evenly. Thanks to the natural properties of hog bristle, you have control over the amount of paint and can achieve both smooth and textured effects.

Long-lasting ease of use
The long handle provides a comfortable grip during longer painting sessions and gives you more control over your movements. The glossy varnish protects the wood against paint and solvents. After use, clean the brush thoroughly with turpentine or a special brush cleaner to keep the hog bristles supple.
