When do you need a pedal bin?
A pedal bin is essential in situations where you want to dispose of waste hygienically without touching the bin with your hands. This is especially important in kitchens, offices, medical environments and toilets, where you need to keep your hands free or want to prevent cross-contamination.

Why choose this rectangular shape?
The rectangular shape of this Rubbermaid bin makes optimal use of the available space, particularly in narrow corners or against walls. With dimensions of 42.5 x 27 x 53.5 cm, this 30-litre bin fits perfectly in compact spaces where a round bin would take up too much room. The rounded corners make cleaning easy, with no hard-to-reach spots.

Silent use thanks to the overlapping lid
The overlapping lid system ensures silent opening and closing, which is crucial in office environments where you don't want to disturb your colleagues. The PE (polyethylene) material is durable and resistant to daily use, while the black pedal is robust enough for intensive use.

Practical tip for optimal placement
The pedal is located on the broad side of the bin, which means you need roughly 15-20 cm of extra space for the foot operation. Therefore, position the bin so that you have enough legroom from the side where the pedal is located. This prevents awkward bending or tipping of the bin during use.
