When do you need a pedal bin?
A pedal bin such as this Rubbermaid Slim Jim is ideal for offices, kitchens and sanitary facilities where you want to dispose of waste without touching the lid with your hands. This is particularly useful during tasks where your hands are occupied or dirty, or when hygiene is important.

Why choose this rectangular shape?
The rectangular shape with rounded corners makes this bin particularly suitable for placement against walls or in corners. Thanks to its compact design, it fits easily into narrow spaces, while the 30-litre capacity is sufficient for daily office or kitchen waste in medium-sized work areas.

What makes the pedal mechanism special?
The pedal is located on the wide side of the bin, allowing it to be operated from different angles. The mechanism ensures quiet opening and closing, which is important in office environments where noise nuisance should be avoided. The stainless steel construction in silver/black gives it a professional appearance.

Practical feature: the sturdy inner bucket
The bin comes with a sturdy inner bucket that makes it easier to replace bin liners. You can lift the inner bucket out for thorough cleaning or to swap heavy bin bags more easily without having to move the entire bin.
