For which spaces is this waste bin ideal?
The Rubbermaid Slim Jim with foot-pedal opening is perfect for offices, care facilities and other professional environments where hygiene is important. Thanks to the hands-free operation via the foot pedal, you avoid touching the lid, which helps prevent cross-contamination. The rectangular design with rounded corners makes this bin suitable for placement against walls or in corners.

Why choose this size and this opening?
The slim profile, measuring 499 x 310 x 802 mm, fits perfectly in narrower corridors and at workstations. The foot-pedal opening on the widest side makes the bin easy to use, even when you have both hands full.

How does the quiet pedal system work?
The black foot pedal opens and closes the overlapping lid with minimal noise, which is important in quiet work environments such as offices or care facilities. The quiet operation prevents disturbing colleagues or patients when you dispose of waste. The pedal is firmly attached and built to withstand intensive use.

Practical features for everyday use
The waste bin is made from PE plastic, which ensures durability and easy cleaning. The rounded corners prevent dirt and bacteria from building up in sharp edges. Thanks to the overlapping lid, the waste stays well sealed, which helps contain odours and maintains a neat appearance.
