When do you need an archival-quality fineliner?
An archival-quality fineliner is used for drawings, illustrations or texts that must be kept for a long time without fading. The SAKURA Pigma Micron PN is designed for work that requires permanent, colourfast lines. You choose this type of pen when you are creating documents that must remain legible for years.

Why a line width of 0.5 mm?
With a line width of approximately 0.5 mm, this fineliner sits between the thin detail pens and thicker highlighters. This size is ideal for general drawing, notes and illustrations where you want both fine details and clearly visible lines. You get sufficient coverage without the line becoming too dominant.

Permanent ink with special properties
The ink in this fineliner is of archival quality and is permanent, lightfast and waterproof. This means your drawings and texts will not fade in sunlight and will not run on contact with water. The ink is also odourless and dries quickly, so you can continue working straight away without smudging or waiting.

Practical application in red
Red is a striking colour that you often use for corrections, markings or to emphasise certain elements in your work. The long-lasting tip retains its shape well, even with intensive use. Thanks to the quick-drying property, you can easily combine this fineliner with other materials without the colours running into each other.
