What does this UV marker do?
This SAKURA Pen-touch marker makes markings that are virtually invisible under normal light, but glow a bright UV-blue under UV light or blacklight. You use it when you want discreet markings that only become visible under special lighting, for example for security purposes or special identification.

Why choose a 1.0 mm line width?
The 1.0 mm line width gives you a good balance between precision and visibility under UV light. This line width is thin enough for accurate markings on small surfaces, but thick enough to be clearly visible when you use UV light. It is ideal for marking documents, objects or materials where you want to leave subtle but recognisable marks.

Waterproof and permanent properties
Thanks to the solvent base, this marker is waterproof, meaning your markings resist moisture and will not wash away. The permanent properties ensure your UV markings remain visible under blacklight for a long time, even after prolonged storage or use. This makes the marker suitable for long-term marking of valuable items.

Practical usage tips
The felt-tip gives you control over the ink flow and ensures even lines. Store the marker horizontally to prevent it from drying out, and make sure the cap is firmly closed. Always test first in an inconspicuous spot, especially on sensitive materials. For optimal visibility of your UV markings, use a UV lamp or blacklight in a dark environment.
