This marker writes on any surface, even through oil and dirt. Waterproof and chemical-resistant, perfect for industrial applications on steel and other materials.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need an industrial marker?
An industrial marker such as the SAKURA Solid is used when ordinary pens fail due to extreme conditions. This marker writes even when the surface is covered in oil, grease, rust, dirt or snow. Thanks to its pigmented formulation, your marking stays visible, including on rough and smooth surfaces underwater.
Why choose the rotating mechanism?
The rotating mechanism offers practical advantages over markers with a cap. You never lose a cap, and the tip is always protected against drying out. The plastic mechanism ensures reliable operation, even when wearing gloves or in difficult working conditions.
Waterproof and chemical resistant
This marker is waterproof and chemical resistant, so your markings remain intact despite exposure to various liquids and chemicals. The lightfast properties ensure your markings won't fade from UV radiation or prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Ideal for stainless steel and metalwork
The SAKURA Solid performs excellently on stainless steel, a surface that many markers struggle with. Whether you're marking parts in the workshop, numbering pipelines or identifying equipment, this marker adheres well to smooth metal surfaces and remains legible under industrial conditions.

Dex knows - user tips
Use this marker preferably in a well-ventilated area, as the fumes can irritate the respiratory tract. If any gets on your skin or in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Industrial Marker SOLID MARKER LOW HALOGEN
This low-halogen version of the original Solid Marker is ideal for environments where corrosion is a problem.

Features:
• the Low Halogen marker contains fewer halogens (Br, Cl, F, I) and metallic components (Zn, Pb, Hg, Cu, Fe, S), meeting the requirements of RDT F-7-3T and certified as non-hazardous
• dries within a few minutes, is permanent once dry and practically odourless
• plastic housing
• solvent-based pigment ink
• opaque, lightfast, waterproof and chemical-resistant
• can be removed from non-porous surfaces with alcohol or lacquer thinner
• operating temperature: -40°C to 100°C
• diameter: 12 mm / length: 135 mm
Application examples:
- ideal for use on stainless steel
