What are vinyl hand weights and when do you use them?
Vinyl hand weights are compact training weights that you hold while exercising to give your muscles extra resistance. You use them for aerobics, Pilates, physiotherapy exercises or simply at home for strength training of the arms, shoulders and upper body.

Advantages of the vinyl coatings
The vinyl outer layer around the cast-iron core offers important practical benefits. The material is resistant to sweat, which is essential during intensive training. In addition, the weights are less prone to scratches than metal versions, and you get a better grip while training. The vinyl layer also protects your floor from damage when you put the weights down.

Practical training tip for optimal use
Always start with a warm-up before using the hand weights. Simply clean the vinyl surfaces after use with a damp cloth - this prevents bacterial build-up and keeps the weights hygienic. Preferably store them in a dry place to extend the lifespan of the vinyl.
