When do you need a chalk marker?
A chalk marker is used for writing on dark surfaces such as blackboards, slate tiles or chalkboards in restaurants and cafés. Unlike ordinary chalk, a chalk marker gives a much clearer and more consistent line, without dust or smudging your hands.

Why choose a medium tip of 2-6 mm?
The 2-6 mm line width of this Securit marker is ideal for everyday use, where you want to write both regular text and slightly bolder lettering. This medium tip is versatile enough for menu boards, notices on school blackboards or decorative text, without the letters becoming too thin or too thick.

Advantage of the calligraphic tip
This marker has a calligraphic tip, so you can create different line thicknesses depending on the angle at which you write. Holding the marker at an angle gives you thinner lines, while holding it upright gives the full 6 mm width. This makes it suitable for both regular text and eye-catching headings.

Practical tip for use
White chalk markers are the most universal because they stand out well on all dark backgrounds. Always test first in an inconspicuous spot to check that the marker wipes off cleanly from your particular surface. Store the marker horizontally and shake it before use to get the best coverage.
