What does this DisplayPort cable do?
This DisplayPort cable connects devices that need to transmit high-definition video and audio. You need this cable when you want to connect a computer, laptop or other source to a monitor, projector or TV with a DisplayPort connection. The cable carries both video and audio signals over a single connection.

Why choose a 7.0 metre length?
At 7.0 metres, you have enough cable reach for installations where the source and display are further apart. This length is ideal for presentation rooms, home offices with wall-mounted screens, or situations where your computer is not directly next to your monitor. The cable comfortably bridges distances without you having to worry about signal loss.

Supported resolutions and colour depth
This cable supports resolutions up to 4K2K (60Hz) and 2560 x 1440 (165Hz). You get sharp images with colour sampling in the 4:4:4, 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 formats. The gold-plated contacts ensure stable signal transmission and protect against corrosion.

Extensive audio formats supported
In addition to the video signal, the cable carries various audio formats, including PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS, MPEG and DVD-Audio. Advanced formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD are also supported. When purchasing, make sure that both devices (source and display) have DisplayPort connections – these are the rectangular connectors with one angled corner.
