When do you need an earthed power cable?
An earthed power cable such as this shiverpeaks BASIC-S is used to safely connect electrical appliances to the wall socket. This cable has been specially developed for cold appliances such as monitors, printers, scanners and other office equipment that require 230 Volts. The earthing provides extra safety by discharging electrical leakage currents.

Why choose a 90 degree angled plug?
The 90 degree angled plug is ideal when your appliance stands close against a wall or needs to be placed in a tight space. Thanks to the angle, the plug does not protrude straight out of the wall socket, so you can position furniture closer to the wall. This saves space and prevents the cable from being kinked or damaged.

Reliable VDE certification for safety
This cable complies with VDE standards, meaning it has been tested for safety and quality according to German technical standards. The 5.0 metre length gives you enough room to position your appliance where you want it without needing an extension cable. The black colour ensures the cable blends discreetly into most office environments.

Suitable for Dutch and European markets
This power cable is specifically approved for use in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria and Luxembourg. You can recognise the correct connection by the straight cold appliance coupler that fits most office equipment. Always check that your appliance has a similar inlet before purchasing the cable.
