This is why Dex likes this article
This HDMI cable easily connects your laptop to large screens for razor-sharp 4K images. The gold-plated contacts ensure stable transmission without interference.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need an HDMI A to C cable?
This cable connects devices with different HDMI ports. The A connector fits the standard HDMI ports of laptops, games consoles and media players, while the C connector (mini-HDMI) is suitable for tablets, action cameras and compact devices. You need this cable when you want to send picture and sound from a large device to a compact device, or the other way around.
Why choose this 2 metre length?
With 2 metres you have enough room to position devices flexibly without the cable being pulled taut. This length is ideal for desk setups where you connect a laptop to a tablet, or for presentations where you want to keep some freedom of movement. The cable is long enough for practical use, but not so long that signal loss becomes a problem.
Full HD 4K support with HDMI 1.4
This cable supports picture resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 pixels at 24 Hz and 3840 x 2160 pixels at 24, 25 and 30 Hz. The HDMI 1.4 standard ensures stable transmission up to 10.2 Gbit/s and is backwards compatible with older HDMI versions (1.3, 1.2, 1.1). For audio enthusiasts, the cable supports high-quality formats such as Dolby Digital, DTS and True HD.
Practical compatibility tip
Before you buy, check that both devices actually have HDMI A and C ports. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable connections and reduce corrosion. Please note that 4K display at higher refresh rates may be limited - for 60 Hz 4K you may need a newer HDMI standard.
