When do you need a Cat. 6A network cable?
A Cat. 6A network cable is what you use when you need reliable network connections between devices such as computers, switches, routers or NAS systems. This cable is suitable for situations where you want stable data transfer, for example when connecting workstations to the business network or linking network components in a server room.

Why choose a 15-metre length?
At 15 metres, you can easily bridge the distance between different rooms or from a meter cupboard to a workspace elsewhere in the building. This length gives you enough flexibility for most office and home situations without having to extend cables or come up short when laying fixed connections.

S/FTP shielding for stable connections
This cable features S/FTP (Shielded/Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding with aluminium foil and a copper braid of 80 x 0.12 mm. This double shielding protects your network traffic against electromagnetic interference from other devices nearby, which is especially important in environments with a lot of electronic equipment.

Compatibility and material choice
The RJ45 connectors are gold-plated (CuZnNi), which ensures good conductivity and reduced corrosion. The cable supports up to 500 MHz bandwidth and has AWG 27/7 PVC cables with a copper mix as the conductor material. You can use this cable in all standard Ethernet ports and network equipment that accepts RJ45 connectors.
