When do you need a Cat. 6A network cable?
Cat. 6A network cables are specially developed for professional network connections that require higher speeds and reliability than standard Cat. 5e cables. You need this cable when you want to connect devices that support 10 Gigabit Ethernet, such as modern switches, routers or servers. The 2.0 metre length makes this cable ideal for connections within server racks or between nearby network equipment.

Why choose S/FTP shielding?
This shiverpeaks cable uses S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) technology with aluminium foil and a metal braid of 80 x 0.12 mm. This double shielding protects your network connection against electromagnetic interference that can occur in environments with a lot of electronic equipment. This is especially important in office environments where Wi-Fi signals, computers and other electronics can cause signal disruption.

500 MHz bandwidth for future-proofing
With a bandwidth of 500 MHz, this Cat. 6A cable supports current and future network standards. The cable uses an AWG 27/7 PVC construction with copper alloy conductors, which ensures stable signal transmission. The gold-plated RJ45 connectors made of CuZnNi material offer corrosion resistance and optimal contact for long-lasting reliability.

Practical usage tip
This cable is suitable for all standard RJ45 network ports and Ethernet devices. Check beforehand whether your network equipment actually supports Cat. 6A or 10 Gigabit Ethernet to make the most of the extra bandwidth. For distances longer than 2.0 metres, you can combine multiple segments with a suitable network switch as an intermediate link.
