What does this network cable do?
This Cat. 7 S/FTP network cable connects your computer, laptop or network printer to your router, switch or modem. You need it when you want a stable internet connection for devices without wifi, or where wifi is unreliable. At 5.0 metres in length, it easily bridges the distance from your workstation to the network port.

Why Cat. 7 for reliable performance?
This Cat. 7 cable is tested up to 600 MHz and offers excellent shielding for professional network environments. The gold-plated RJ45 connectors are suitable for standard Cat. 6A equipment, which means you can connect it anywhere. The yellow colour also makes the cable easy to spot, which is handy when organising multiple network connections.

How does the shielding work?
The S/FTP shielding means that each wire pair is individually shielded and there is also an overall screen around them. This prevents interference from external sources such as electrical devices or other cables. The 0.025 mm aluminium foil and copper conductors ensure clean signal transmission, which is especially important in environments with a lot of electronic equipment.

Practical connection information
The cable has RJ45 connectors at both ends with gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion. The wiring follows the TIA/EIA 568B standard, which means you can connect it to virtually all standard network equipment. When laying the cable, make sure you do not bend it too sharply - this can damage the internal conductor structure and reduce performance.
