What does this USB 3.0 extension cable do?
This active USB 3.0 extension cable solves the problem when you need to connect USB devices at a greater distance from your computer. Think of external hard drives, webcams or other peripherals that you cannot place directly next to your workstation. The active design ensures the signal remains strong enough over longer distances.

Why choose an active extension cable?
With an active extension cable, you can extend the standard cable length of USB cables and reach practically any space in an office or home environment. This is ideal for situations where standard short cables fall short, such as presentations in large rooms or when your server or storage equipment is installed in a separate cabinet.

Active technology for reliable transmission
The active design of this cable is crucial for maintaining the full 5 Gbit/s transfer speed over longer distances. Without this active amplification, an ordinary passive cable would become considerably slower or stop functioning altogether. This way you retain the full USB 3.0 performance.

Practical features for professional use
The cable has a sturdy PVC jacket with a diameter of approximately 5.5 mm, which ensures durability with regular use. The USB-A plug and coupling make it universally usable with all standard USB 3.0 devices and computers. Please note that both ends of the cable must have access to power via the USB ports.
