When do you need a versatile felt-tip pen?
The STABILO Pen 68 MAX is a premium felt-tip pen you reach for when you want to colour or highlight both fine details and broad areas. Thanks to the chisel tip, you can create two different line widths with one pen: thin lines of 1.0 mm and broad strokes up to 5.0 mm. This makes it suitable for technical drawing, hand lettering, mind maps and creative projects.

Why the chisel tip is the right choice
The sturdy chisel tip gives you more control than round tips, because by changing the angle of the pen you can determine exactly how thick your line becomes. You can draw fine lines for details and, by keeping the pen flat, colour broad areas. This flexibility means you need fewer different pens for a single project.

Why the water-based ink is useful
The odourless water-based ink makes this felt-tip pen suitable for long-term indoor use without annoying fumes. A particular advantage is that you can create watercolour effects by working over the ink with water or a wet brush. This produces beautiful colour gradations and transparent effects that you cannot achieve with ordinary felt-tip pens.

Practical tip for the best results
Thanks to the ventilated cap, the pen remains usable for up to 24 hours if you forget to put the cap back on. Store the pen horizontally so the ink supply spreads evenly across the chisel tip. For the best watercolour effects, work on paper suitable for watercolour, such as watercolour paper or thick drawing paper.
