When do you need a fountain pen for learning to write?
This STABILO EASYbuddy fountain pen is specially designed as a handwriting pen (Schreiblernstift) for children learning to write with a fountain pen. You choose this type of pen when you want to move from an ordinary pen to a fountain pen, but still need support with the correct pen grip and writing posture.

What is the advantage of the ergonomic design?
This fountain pen has an ergonomic shape, so you automatically learn the correct pen grip. The soft grip zone made from non-slip material ensures your fingers don't slide away while writing. This makes learning to write with a fountain pen much easier than with a standard model.

What does the A nib mean and why is it suitable?
The fountain pen has an A nib (Federbreite A), which stands for a broad writing nib that is ideal for beginners. This broad nib gives more control over ink flow and makes it easier to write neat letters. The Iridium nib is replaceable, so you can later fit a different nib if you wish.

Practical benefits for everyday use
The fountain pen is completely leak-proof (auslaufsicher) and has a transparent viewing window so you can check the ink level. A royal blue ink cartridge is included, so you can start writing straight away. The light writing action means you need to apply less pressure, which helps prevent hand fatigue.
