When do you need pastel pencils?
Pastel pencils are ideal when you want to combine the soft, velvety texture of pastels with the precision of a pencil. You use them for artistic drawings, sketches and colouring work where you want to create both fine details and broad areas of colour. The CarbOthello pastel pencils are suitable for artists who want to experiment with different techniques in a single work.

Why choose this format?
The extensive colour range offers enough variety for diverse artworks. The metal case in ARTY design keeps storage tidy and protects the pencils during transport. This set offers quality and colour choice for most artistic projects.

What makes these pastel pencils special?
The pencils have a 4.4 mm thick lead and are 175 mm long, which ensures stable drawing comfort. An important feature is that they can be blended and erased dry, so you can mix colours without water or other aids. You can also partly erase them while the outlines remain visible, which is useful for corrections and layering techniques.

Practical tip for optimal use
The case contains an eraser and a sharpener, so you can get started straight away. Always return the pencils to the metal case after use to prevent breakage. Because the outlines stay visible when erasing, you can make sketches first and later use them as a base for colour accents.
