When do you need a special pencil for left-handers?
Left-handed children who are learning to write have different needs from right-handed children. This STABILO pencil is specially designed for beginning writers who are left-handed. It helps develop a good writing posture without the hand cramping or the writing being smudged.

Why this triangular shape is the right choice
The ergonomic triangular shape ensures that your fingers automatically rest in the right place. This prevents beginning writers from gripping the pencil too tightly or holding it incorrectly. The anti-slip grooves provide extra grip, so the pencil doesn't slip away while you write.

What the HB grade means for you
HB stands for the middle grade of hardness - not too hard and not too soft. This is ideal for children learning to write because the pencil writes smoothly without wearing down too quickly. You don't need to press hard to get a clear line, which is especially important for beginning writers.

Practical details for everyday use
With a lead thickness of 3.15 mm, this pencil is thicker than standard pencils, so it is less likely to break when used clumsily. The name field on the pencil lets you write your name on it, handy at school or at home where several pencils can get mixed up. The pastel pink colour makes the pencil easy to spot among other writing equipment.
