What does this brush pen do and when do you need it?
This STAEDTLER brush pen is specially designed for creative projects where you want to add striking metallic accents. Its flexible brush tip lets you create both fine details and broad strokes, making it perfect for calligraphy, hand lettering, illustrations and decorative drawings.

Why choose this white metallic variant?
White metallic ink is particularly versatile because it shows up well on both light and dark paper and card. While other colours often disappear on dark backgrounds, this white brush pen creates beautiful contrasts on black paper and subtle highlights on light backgrounds.

Flexible brush tip for variable line width
The flexible brush tip responds to the pressure you apply, so you can vary the line width between 1.0 and 6.0 mm. Light pressure gives you thin, precise lines of around 1.0 mm, while more pressure produces broad strokes of up to 6.0 mm. This variability makes expressive lettering and dynamic drawings possible.

Practical tip for optimal use
The pigmented metallic ink works best when you hold the pen at an angle of about 45 degrees. Always test first on a corner of your paper or card to achieve the desired effect. By building up pressure gradually, you gain more control over the line width than when you start with full force straight away.
