When do you need these drawing pencils?
STAEDTLER Mars carbon drawing pencils are specially developed for technical drawing and sketching on paper and drawing card. You choose these pencils when you want to draw precise lines for technical drawings, architectural sketches or graphic designs where accuracy matters.

Why this 2 mm diameter?
The 2 mm diameter offers the ideal balance between stability and detailing options. This thickness is robust enough not to break easily during intensive use, yet thin enough for detailed work. At a length of 130 mm, the pencils have a comfortable size for prolonged drawing.

The benefits of 2B hardness
The 2B hardness produces a deep black line that is clearly visible without being too soft. This means you get clear, densely covering strokes that won't smudge, while the tip remains sufficiently wear-resistant. The black colour gives your technical drawings a professional finish.

Practical storage solution
You receive 12 pencils in a handy case that keeps your pencils organised and protected. This makes it easy to take your materials to different work locations. The case prevents the pencils from breaking in your bag and keeps them together for efficient working.
