What are colouring pencils used for and when do you need them?
Colouring pencils are essential for creative projects, school assignments and office work where you want to add colour to drawings, diagrams or presentations. You need them for colouring in illustrations, making colour-coded notes or developing creative ideas on paper.

Why this set of 12 colours is the right choice
This STAEDTLER set contains 12 different colours, including light yellow, orange, magenta, blue, yellow-green, brown, peach, red, red-lilac, light blue, green and black. This range of colours covers the basic shades you need for most drawing and colouring projects. The cardboard box keeps all the pencils neatly together.

What the hexagonal shape and soft surface mean
The hexagonal shape prevents the pencils from rolling off your desk and provides a stable grip while drawing. The soft surface (ergonomic soft surface) makes long periods of use more comfortable for your fingers. The 3.0 mm tip thickness ensures firm colour lines that do not easily break during normal use.

Practical tip for durable use
These pencils are made from recycled wood, which means the wood contains recycled material. Store the pencils in the supplied cardboard box to protect the tips and prevent individual colours from going missing. Use the reference number 185 C12 when you want to reorder exactly the same set.
