What does this metallic marker do?
This STAEDTLER permanent marker has been specially developed for calligraphy and decorative lettering. With its 2.8 mm calligraphy nib, you can create elegant lettering and artistic accents in metallic. The marker is ideal for making invitations, greeting cards, scrapbooking or decorating dark surfaces.

Why this calligraphy nib?
The 2.8 mm calligraphy nib stands out from regular round nibs thanks to its flat shape. This allows you to draw both thin and thick lines, depending on the angle at which you write. This gives you control to create variation in line thickness, which is essential for beautiful calligraphy and hand lettering.

Metallic pigment ink for optimal coverage
The pigmented metallic ink provides a glossy, eye-catching finish that is clearly visible on both light and dark surfaces. Unlike regular markers, this one also writes well on dark paper and card, where the metallic quality really comes into its own. The permanent formula means your work won't bleed or fade.

Suitable for paper and card
You can use this marker on various types of paper and card. Do note that the permanent ink cannot be erased, so you may want to practise on a test piece first. The blue barrel with a cap and nib in line colour makes it easy to spot the marker among your collection of writing materials.
