A complete range of 24 grades in one sturdy metal case, from 12B to 10H. This way you always have the right pencil to hand, whether you're sketching, drawing or doing technical work. The core-bonded lead doesn't break easily, so you can rely on it for years.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need professional drawing pencils?
The STAEDTLER Mars Lumograph pencils have been specially developed for technical drawing, artistic sketching and graphic design. You need these pencils when you want precision and different shades of grey in your work. Thanks to the various degrees of hardness, you can vary from very soft, dark lines to hard, light strokes.
Why this complete set of 24 pencils?
This set contains every degree of hardness from 12B to 10H, so you have the right pencil for every application. From the very soft 12B for deep shadows to the hard 10H for fine detail lines. The metal case keeps all the pencils neatly organised and protects them from damage.
Extra strong lead for durable use
The pencils have a core-bonded lead of 2.0 mm thickness, which provides exceptional resistance to breakage. This means the lead is less likely to snap during intensive use, even in the softer grades. The hexagonal shape prevents rolling and offers a comfortable grip during long drawing sessions.
Practical tip for optimal use
Always store the pencils in the supplied metal case to prevent damage. For the best results, you can combine different degrees of hardness within a single drawing: start with hard pencils (H grades) for base lines and build up shadows and depth with soft grades (B grades). The blue lacquer makes each pencil recognisable as STAEDTLER quality.
