What does this patch cable do and when do you need it?
This TELEGÄRTNER Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable provides stable network connections in professional environments. You need this cable when you want to connect devices such as computers, switches or routers to each other via a network. Cat.6A supports higher speeds than standard Cat.6 cables and is suitable for future-proof network installations.

Why choose this 0.25 metre length?
The short length of 0.25 metres makes this cable ideal for connections within a patch panel or server rack where devices are placed close together. This compact size avoids unnecessary cable length that would only create clutter. In network cabinets, every centimetre counts, and this short patch cable helps you maintain a tidy installation.

Why S/FTP shielding matters
The S/FTP shielding means that this cable has both a braid and foil around the cable pairs, plus an extra screen around the whole. This offers excellent protection against electromagnetic interference, which is especially important in environments with a lot of electronic equipment. The double shielding ensures your network signal remains stable, even under heavy use.

Please note: halogen-free construction
This cable is halogen-free, which means it contains no harmful halogen compounds. This is important for installations in buildings where fire safety is a priority, as halogen-free cables produce fewer toxic fumes when burned. The GHMT-PVP certification and UL listing confirm that the cable meets international safety standards for professional use.
