When do you choose this product?
When do you need extra strong repair tape?
You use tesa 56497 when ordinary tape is not sufficient for repairing damaged items. This tape has been specially developed for repairs that must withstand water, weather and temperature changes. Ideal for sealing tears in sails, reinforcing broken packaging or temporarily repairing outdoor materials.
Transparent finish for discreet repairs
The transparent colour makes this tape almost invisible on clear materials such as plastic, glass or film. This allows you to carry out repairs without affecting the appearance of the object. The extra thick construction compensates for the transparency by offering additional strength.
Withstands extreme conditions
This repair tape holds up at temperatures from -10 to +90 degrees Celsius, so you can use it both indoors and outdoors. Its water- and weather-resistant properties make it suitable for repairs exposed to rain or humidity. You can easily tear the tape by hand, which is handy when you don't have scissors to hand.
