When do you need temperature-resistant double-sided tape?
This tesa tape has been specially developed for applications where ordinary double-sided tape falls short due to temperature fluctuations. You need this product when you have to permanently bond materials exposed to heat or cold, such as in technical repairs, insulation work or automotive applications.

Why choose this 12 mm width?
At 12 mm wide, this tape offers a good balance between precision and bonding surface. This size is ideal for accurately sealing insulation pipes or creating strong joints on smaller surfaces where wider tapes would be too bulky. The 50 metre length ensures you have enough material for several projects.

Strong adhesion to plastics such as ABS
The acrylate adhesive in this polyester tape provides excellent adhesion to various plastics, including ABS. This makes the tape particularly suitable for bonding plastic parts that require a durable connection. Its colourless character ensures the bond remains discreet.

Practical tip for use
The tape comes with a red protective liner that is easy to recognise and remove. This tesa 4965 tape is specifically suitable for sealing insulation pipes and automotive applications such as convertible roof repairs. Make sure the surfaces are clean and dry before applying the tape for optimal adhesion.
