Strong mounting tape that stays permanently adhered to slightly rough surfaces such as wallpaper or plaster. Holds up to 10 kg per 10 cm of tape, perfect for hanging decorations and accessories without drilling.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need extra strong mounting tape?
Double-sided mounting tape is used when you want to fix objects permanently without drilling or screwing. This tesa mounting tape has been specially developed for fixings on surfaces where drilling is not desirable. You choose mounting tape if you want to spare your walls or if you live in a rented home where drilling is not permitted.
Adheres to rough surfaces
The great advantage of this mounting tape is that it adheres to slightly rough surfaces such as wallpaper and plasterwork. Ordinary double-sided tape often fails on these kinds of surfaces, but this tape really does hold firm. This makes it suitable for most household situations.
Load capacity and thickness advice
This mounting tape can support objects up to 10 mm thick, with a load capacity of 10 kg per 10 cm of tape. So work out how many centimetres of tape you need based on the weight of your object. Make sure the object is no thicker than 10 mm, otherwise the tape will lose its effectiveness.

Dex knows - user tips
Apply the tape to a clean, dry surface for the best result: wipe away dust and grease with a cloth before applying the tape. After fixing it in place, press down firmly and allow the bond to cure for at least 24 hours before hanging any weight from it.
