Painting exterior woodwork? This masking tape gives you razor-sharp paint edges and stays UV- and weather-resistant for up to 8 weeks. Once removed, it leaves no residue, ideal for any type of paint.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need special masking tape for outdoor use?
Painting outdoors has different requirements than DIY jobs indoors. Regular masking tape can deteriorate due to sunlight and weather, making it difficult to remove or causing it to peel off. This tesa Precision Outdoor tape has been specially developed for use outdoors, where UV radiation and changing weather conditions play a role.
Why choose this 25 mm width?
With a width of 25 mm, this tape provides sufficient coverage for most painting jobs on window frames, ceiling trim and other details. This size is wide enough to mask effectively, but not so wide that you waste a lot of tape on smaller surfaces. With 25 metres per roll, you have enough supply for a substantial painting project.
UV and weather resistance
The main advantage of this tape is its extreme UV and weather resistance. This means the tape retains its adhesive strength and does not dry out in sunlight, while also being resistant to rain and temperature fluctuations. You can leave the tape on the surface for up to 8 weeks without any adhesive residue remaining.
Suitable for all paint types
This masking tape works with all types of paint you use outdoors. Whether you work with latex, alkyd paint or other paint types, the tape always gives sharp, precise lines. Thanks to its extra-thin yet tear-resistant construction, you get extremely straight paint edges without paint creeping under the tape.
