This sturdy textile tape adheres excellently to rough and dusty surfaces. Waterproof and flexible, ideal for repairs and fixings where ordinary tape falls short.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need fabric tape?
Fabric tape is used for heavy-duty fastenings where ordinary adhesive tape falls short. This tesa 4662 fabric tape is made from a PET/cotton weave with 27 mesh and has a natural rubber adhesive that ensures strong adhesion. You use this type of tape for repairs, bundling cables, securing heavier materials, or temporary fixings that need to withstand a great deal of force.
Why choose the 48 mm width?
The 48 mm width offers sufficient surface area for a firm grip without unnecessary material usage. This size is ideal for most practical applications, from repairing tents and sails to bundling pipes. With a length of 50 metres, you have enough stock for several projects without running through your tape too quickly.
Adheres to difficult surfaces too
This fabric tape stands out for its ability to adhere to rough and dusty surfaces where other tapes fail. The natural rubber adhesive conforms to unevenness and ensures reliable adhesion. Thanks to the flexible weave, the tape stays firmly in place even when the underlying material moves or bends.
Waterproof and flexible in use
The silver-coloured tape is waterproof, so you can use it both indoors and outdoors. The flexibility of the weave means it won't tear when subjected to movement and adapts to rounded shapes. Thanks to the textile structure, you can tear the tape by hand, which makes working easier when you don't have scissors to hand.
