When do you need a dual brush pen?
This TOMBOW dual brush pen is ideal for creative projects where you want to colour both fine details and broad areas. Use it for handlettering, calligraphy, drawing, scrapbooking or making illustrations where variation in line thickness is important.

Why choose the dual-tip system?
With two different tips in one pen, you effortlessly switch between precise line work and broad area work. The fine tip gives you control for exact lines, while the broad brush tip creates smooth areas of colour. This saves time and means you don't need multiple pens for the same project.

Advantages of water-based ink
The ink is water-based, so the pen is odourless during use. This makes it suitable for working for long periods indoors without being bothered by chemical smells. Moreover, different colours can be mixed together, so you can create new shades by working colours over one another.

Practical tip for optimal use
The line width varies from 0.8 to 10 mm, depending on which tip you use and how much pressure you apply. Store the pen horizontally to prevent the ink from settling to one side. For the best blending results, work with the colours while they are still damp, so they flow naturally into each other.
