When should you replace the castors on your office chair?

These castors are the perfect solution when your current office chair no longer rolls smoothly over hard floors such as parquet, tiles or stone. If you notice that your chair scratches, moves with difficulty or makes noise while rolling, it is time for a replacement. The polypropylene construction with a rubber tread ensures that you can move silently and protectively across hard surfaces once again.

Why choose 50 mm castors?

The wheel diameter of 50 mm offers the ideal balance between manoeuvrability and stability. This size rolls smoothly over unevenness in hard floors without getting stuck. The pin format of 10 mm diameter and 20 mm length fits most standard chair bases, so you can easily upgrade without any technical adjustments.

Load-dependent braking function

These castors feature a load-dependent braking function, which means they lock automatically when you sit on the chair. As soon as you stand up, the castors are released again and you can move the chair effortlessly. This considerably increases safety and prevents your chair from sliding away while you are seated.

Compatibility with Topstar chairs

The castors are specifically designed for a wide range of Topstar chair models, including the Point series (Point 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80), Sitness models, Support chairs and many others. Check whether your chair model is on the compatibility list to make sure these castors will fit. With 5 pieces in the pack, you have a complete set ready for replacement straight away.
