What is an active seat cushion and when do you need one?
An active seat cushion such as the Topstar Sitness 5 offers an active sitting experience that helps you strengthen your core muscles while sitting. You choose this product when you want to move while working, improve your posture or vary your sitting position. This balance ball-style seat cushion encourages small movements that keep your back and abdominal muscles active.

Why choose this size and height?
With a seat height of 55 cm and a diameter of 45 cm, this seat cushion fits standard desks and tables well. The height is suitable for users up to a maximum height of 1.92 metres. Thanks to the air pressure regulation, you can adjust the firmness to your own body weight, so you always get the right support.

Load capacity and usage time
The seat cushion has a load capacity of 110 kg and is fitted with stable chrome-plated lightweight metal base feet that ensure stability. The product is designed for use of up to 4 hours a day, making it suitable for part-time active sitting or as a change from your regular office chair.

Practical details for use
The 3D mesh fabric made of 100% polyester provides breathable comfort while sitting. The supplied air pump makes it easy to inflate the seat cushion and adjust the pressure. The best way to use this product is as a supplement to your existing workplace, not as a complete replacement for your office chair.
