What does a sit-stool do, and when do you need one?
A sit-stool such as the Sitness 20 is designed for active sitting and offers an alternative to traditional office chairs. You use this stool when you want to move deliberately while seated, which helps activate your muscles and improve your posture at work.

Why choose this particular size?
With seat dimensions of 400 x 400 mm, this stool offers a sufficiently large seating surface for comfortable use. The adjustable height of 420 to 550 mm makes it possible to match the stool to different desks and body sizes, so you can always adopt an ergonomically sound working posture.

How does the lateral movement work?
What makes this stool special is its air-pressure-adjustable lateral movement. This means you can decide how much freedom of movement you want while sitting. The stool moves with your body, creating constant micro-movements that activate your core muscles without you having to think about it.

Practical considerations for daily use
The stool has a load capacity of 110 kg and stands stably on a polished metal base plate with rubber wheels. The 100% polypropylene material is durable and easy to keep clean. Be sure to ease into active sitting gradually: start with shorter periods and slowly build up to longer durations of use.
