What does a self-inking text stamp do?
A self-inking text stamp such as the Trodat Printy 4912 is ideal when you regularly need to stamp the same text or information onto documents. You don't need a separate ink pad because the ink is already built into the stamp. This makes stamping faster and prevents smudgy impressions.

Why choose this 47×18 mm size?
With an impression size of 47×18 mm, this stamp offers enough room for multiple lines of text, up to a maximum of 5 lines. This size is perfect for standard business stamps such as address details, signatures with job titles, or date stamps with additional information. The size is large enough to remain legible, yet compact enough for regular office use.

How does the individual text plate work?
You receive a gutschein (voucher) with which you can have a personalised text plate made to your specifications. This means the stamp is tailored to your exact needs, whether that is a company stamp, a signature or specific text. The black ink ensures clear, professional impressions on most paper types.

Practical tip for long-term use
When the ink runs low, you can easily replace the ink pad with replacement pad 6/4912. This keeps the stamp usable for years. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 78×35×85 mm, the stamp fits easily in your desk or office drawer, and its sturdy construction ensures it keeps its shape even with frequent use.
