When do you need a 1.2 mm fineliner?
A fineliner with a 1.2 mm line width is used for work where you want clearly visible lines without them becoming too thick. This width is ideal for technical drawings, diagrams, overviews and situations where you want to highlight details that must remain easy to read. The uni-ball PIN sits between thin fineliners and genuine felt-tip pens.

Why choose this 1.2 mm variant?
The 1.2 mm line width gives you the perfect balance between precision and visibility. You can still work accurately with it, but the lines are thicker than standard fineliners of 0.4 or 0.7 mm. This makes your work easier to read from a distance and suitable for presentations where others need to follow your drawings.

Advantage of pigment ink
This uni-ball fineliner uses pigment ink, which means your lines won't fade from sunlight or artificial light. Pigment ink penetrates paper less deeply than regular ink and therefore produces sharper, more consistent lines. Your drawings will stay as vivid for years as they were on the day you made them.

Practical tip for use
Always store the fineliner horizontally or with the tip pointing downwards to keep the ink flow optimal. The black plastic casing gives you a firm grip during prolonged use. Thanks to the specific 1.2 mm line width, this fineliner is compatible with most rulers and stencils without damaging the tip.
