When do you need a safety sandal?
In workplaces where you need protection but also require ventilation, a safety sandal offers a practical solution. The open construction ensures air circulation around the foot, which increases comfort during work of average intensity over longer periods.

Why this wide model is the right choice
The Uvex 2 trend is specifically designed with a wide fit, designated as width 11. If your feet are on the wider side or if standard safety shoes pinch, this model is a logical choice. The hook-and-loop closure with a pull tab also ensures an adjustable and stable fit without having to tie laces.

Protection and comfort in balance
The sandal meets the S1P standard, which means it has a steel toe cap to protect the toes. The upper is made of microvelours, a breathable material that also offers comfort on the inside. The ergonomic outsole is designed for medium-heavy use, making it suitable for work environments where you walk a lot or stand for long periods, but not for the most demanding industrial applications.

Practical tip when purchasing
This model is available in size 39 and comes in the black/blue colour combination. When purchasing, always check that the S1P classification matches the safety requirements applicable to your workplace, as not every work environment requires the same protection category. If you are unsure about the correct standard, you can consult the safety requirements established for your sector or company.
