When do you need a CR1616 lithium coin cell?
This lithium coin cell is specifically designed for small electronic devices that require a stable 3 volt power supply. You need this battery for watches, remote controls, fitness trackers, car keys and other compact devices that have little space for a battery.

Why choose the CR1616 size?
With a diameter of 16.0 mm and a height of just 1.6 mm, this is one of the thinnest coin cell variants available. This specific size fits perfectly into devices where space is limited and a flat battery is required. The compact dimensions make it ideal for modern, slim electronic gadgets.

Reliable energy capacity of 55 mAh
This VARTA coin cell delivers 55 mAh of capacity, ensuring a long-lasting and stable power supply. Lithium technology provides a consistent voltage throughout the battery's entire lifespan, without the typical voltage drop you see with other battery types. This is essential for devices that require precise timing or constant operation.

Practical storage tip and identification
The battery is supplied in a protective blister pack that keeps it fresh until use. Look for the OEM reference 06616 101 401 on your device or in the manual to be sure this is the correct replacement. Store unused batteries at room temperature and avoid contact with metal objects to prevent short circuits.
