When do you need rechargeable AAA batteries?
Rechargeable AAA batteries are the ideal choice for devices that use batteries regularly. Think of wireless mice, remote controls, game controllers, torches or digital thermometers. By choosing rechargeable ones, you save considerably on battery costs in the long run and reduce battery waste.

Why this 800 mAh capacity?
With a capacity of 800 mAh, these VARTA batteries offer a good balance between runtime and charging time. This capacity is suitable for devices with an average power consumption as well as for more intensive use. You get 4 batteries in one pack, which is practical for devices that need several AAA batteries at once.

What does the 1.2 volt voltage mean?
Rechargeable batteries standardly deliver 1.2 volts instead of the 1.5 volts of disposable batteries. You won't notice this small difference with most modern devices, as these are designed to work with both voltages. Some older devices may, however, perform slightly less well, but usually still function well.

Practical compatibility tip
These HR03 AAA batteries are compatible with all standard AAA compartments and can be charged with any suitable AAA battery charger. Do check whether your device is suitable for rechargeable batteries – this is usually stated in the user manual. Store spare batteries at room temperature and recharge them every 3–6 months to maintain their lifespan.
