What does a bead pen do?
A bead pen is a creative tool that lets you make decorative effects resembling real beads. The paint in this pen forms small semicircular dots as it dries, which look like pearls or beads. You use it when you want to decorate textiles, paper or other materials with a raised effect, without having to glue on real beads.

Why choose this turquoise size?
This Viva Decor bead pen contains 28 ml of paint in the colour turquoise. The size is practical for smaller projects and gives you enough content to make several decorations. The turquoise shade is versatile and works well as an accent against both neutral and contrasting colours in your creative projects.

How does the half-pearl technique work?
The paint in this pen has the special property that it forms into half-dome shaped pearls as it dries. You can use the paint straight from the pen without any extra tools. The paint is water-based, which means it has less odour than solvent-based alternatives and is safer to use.

Practical tip for use
This bead pen is suitable for both light and dark materials, so you have flexibility in your choice of material. The paint is washable up to 30 degrees, which is handy for textile projects such as T-shirts or bags. Make sure you let the decoration dry completely before washing the item, and do not use higher temperatures in order to preserve the half-pearl structure.
